Timothy Wessman

June 10, 1939 ~ February 6, 2018 (age 78)

Our loving father, Timothy Wessman, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2018 surrounded by his family.

Tim was Born June 10, 1939 in Ogden Utah to Henry and Barbara Wessman. He graduated from Ben Lomond High School and began working at Hill Air Force Base as an Electrical Engineer. He then changed careers, working as a union elevator engineer and serviceman. He retired from IHC as their Elevator Master Technician.

His greatest enjoyments in life were the years he spent developing his own company, Wessman Enterprises, where he designed and built custom hot rods, and spending time with his boys tinkering and working on cars.

He loved spending time outdoors, taking road trips and long drives in the mountains, camping, hiking, trail rides, building and sailing boats, playing music, karaoke, and having jam sessions with friends and family.

He enjoyed spending time with people and had a real appreciation and interest in what others’ thoughts and dreams were.  He always had confidence in people and had a selfless way of making you feel good about yourself, which is a rare quality to find these days. He had a kind and patient heart, a listening ear, and was always willing to help others in need. His love and friendship will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his children Sheri Sessions-Wessman, Jill (Larry) Sandberg, Tim (Meredith) Wessman, Brett (Kandice) Wessman, and Matthew (Kristine) Robbins, 24 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and his three sisters Barbara East, Pat Anderson, Shirley (Dennis) Powell, and several cherished friends.

Tim’s life will be honored with a private family celebration of his life. In lieu of flowers and condolences his family would be honored if you left fond memories of Tim at aaronsmortuary.com and by “paying forward” a kindness to someone else, in his memory.

We love and miss you Dad and know you will be watching over us from the other side.
