Mrs. Patti Lynn Thedell, of Roy, UT, passed away on Thursday, March 15, 2018, at the age of 54 after nearly five years of battling lung cancer.
Patti was born to parents Michael and Shirley Sjoberg on June 14, 1963 in Ogden, UT. She grew up as the eldest of three and attended Ben Lomond High School. On November 30, 1984, she married the love of her life, Kenneth Thedell. The couple had two children.
Patti was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. Some of her favorite past-times were her family outings to Hoop Lake, as well as out-shooting the men in her family while hunting deer. Patti was well-liked and shall be missed by many. She was friendly, helpful, outspoken, and charismatic; it's no wonder so many people gravitated towards her. She was full of life and would consider everyone else's needs in the room before ever thinking of herself. She was a fighter that refused to back down, and a nurturing mother/grandmother that loved her family more than anything.
Patti is survived by her husband, Kenneth Thedell; her daughter, Crystal Coles; her son, Kenny Thedell; her parents, Michael and Shirley Sjoberg; her brother, Michael Freed; her sister, Shelley Christensen; and three grandchildren: Jace, Elise, and Melody Coles.
A celebration of life will be available to the public at Aaron's Mortuary in Ogden, UT, on Saturday, March 24th between the hours of 2 and 5 p.m. Friends and family are invited to attend. The family is grateful for your condolences.
