Adeline Elizabeth Bishop

November 14, 1920 — July 27, 2009

OGDEN- Adeline Elizabeth Birkmann Bishop 88, passed away on July 27, 2009. She was born on November 14, 1920 in Talmage, Nebraska. She attended schools in Johnson and Lincoln, Nebraska, and graduated with a degree in Elementary Education from the University of Nebraska.

She was married to William L. Hill on August 11, 1945 in Lincoln, Nebraska but eventually moved to Utah where she was a kindergarten teacher for thirty-six years. She especially loved teaching music to her students and enjoyed reading and flowers.

Her children Diane H. (Lowell F.) Murdock of North Ogden, Utah, and Chris Jackson of Orem, Utah, eleven grandchildren, and thirty-six great grandchildren survive, Adeline. Her brother Madison Birkmann, and her sister, Shirley Rayburn and numerous nephews and nieces, also survive her.

The family would like to thank the caregivers and medical professionals at the Gardens Asst. Living Center, McKay Dee Hospital, and Crestwood Care Center for the care of their mother.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 31, 2009 at 11:00 am at the Pleasant View 2nd Ward Chapel, 250 West Elberta Dr. (brown church) Pleasant View, Utah.

Interment will be at Ben Lomond Cemetery..
