Over the years, Barbara worked in several jobs, with her favorite being a cashier in various casinos in Virginia City, Nevada, where she worked for over 20 years. She enjoyed playing bingo and going to the casinos with family and friends. Always known for her social spirit, often outlasting her children and grandchildren in her games.
Barbara’s life was a testament to love, loyalty, kindness, and generosity. Though small in stature, she was mighty in spirit and fiercely loved her family. Whether by blood or through friendship, she opened her heart and home to many. Family was her greatest purpose, and she cherished every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She loved giving gifts and feeding anyone who entered her home, especially with sweet treats and warm hospitality.
