Benjamin R. Hernandez

Our beloved husband and father Benjamin R. Hernandez,48 passed away at McKay-Dee Hospital, September 7, 2009. He was born February 16, 1961, in Mexico to Emigdio and Maria DeJesus Hernandez.

He met Irma Castillo in Morelia, Michoacan, Mexico and married her n 1984. They had three children, Irma V. Hernandez, Benjamin A. Hernandez and Julian A. Hernandez.

Benjamin always made friends easily and from those friendships many became like his family. He loved music and played many instruments and always encouraged his children to learn, and follow their passions.

During the last eight years of his life he was chronically ill and it was difficult to physically work, but he always found ways to provide with many of his business ideas. He believed in the value of education and having honorable business ethics.

Benjamin was a man that loved a great Carne Asada and enjoyed the challenge of solving a difficult math problem and the company of his family every day.

Funeral Mass will be held Friday, September 11, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Joseph's, 514-24th St. Ogden, Utah.

Arrangements and Cremation are under the direction of Aaron's Mortuary.
