Brenda Pinko Anderson

Brenda Weimer Pinko Anderson-61

On February 14, 2019 heaven gained an angel.  Brenda Anderson passed away from a very short battle with leukemia.  Words cannot express how deeply she will be missed.

Brenda was born on June 12, 1957 in Shreveport, LA to Clarence “Herk” Weimer and Sarah Margaret Vick Weimer.  She moved with her parents to Missouri, Edinburgh, Scotland, Ipswich, England, Guam, then Utah.  She graduated from Ben Lomond High School in 1975 then shortly after Hollywood Beauty School.

She married Douglas K. Anderson Sr. June 20, 1975.  Together they had 3 beautiful children.  Jennifer Clark(Wayne), Douglas K. Anderson Jr. (Joanne), Sarah Randall (Darrin).  They later divorced and had a second chance at love when they remarried April 2, 2016.  Brenda married James W. Pinko Jr. March 26, 1988, they had a wonderful life together before he passed away in 2011.  Brenda retired in June 2018 from the IRS where she worked 33 years.

Her pride and joy in life was her grandkids.  She loved them so much and was so proud of them.  Brenda loved so many people unconditionally and without judgement.  She was a second Mom, Grandma, and Auntie to so many.  Through her many years of involvement with Job’s Daughters she influenced and mentored so many people.  She is a member of Eastern Star, Daughter’s of the Nile, and Beausciant.  She is a Past Grand Guardian, Past Bethel Guardian Bethel #15 and current Bethel Guardian for Bethel #2 Job’s Daughters International.  Her many years of volunteering and the impact she made will never be forgotten.

Brenda loved to fish, camp, and ride ATV’s with her family and friends.  She looked forward to her yearly Nascar trip to Las Vegas.

So many thoughts about Brenda come to mind, it would be impossible to name them all. My appreciation of her came with Jobs Daughters Bethel 15. She was a natural teacher of the girls and council members alike. Out was hard work bringing the girls through from young women to successful adults, but well worth every moment. Rest in peace Brenda you are a Saint
