It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Brigg Tyson Lichfield on Tuesday, July 22, 2025. Brigg was a vibrant soul whose big personality and kind heart left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, the favorite brother, and a loyal friend.
Brigg dedicated his career to Hensel Phelps Construction, where he was known for his brilliance and passion for his work. Outside of his professional life, Brigg was an adventurer at heart. He found joy in motocross, the great outdoors, and especially in fly fishing—a sport he loved not just for the thrill, but for the peace it brought him. True to his gentle nature, he practiced catch and release, believing even the fish deserved kindness. Brigg shared many of his adventures with his brother Quinn in which the two were the best of friends and inseparable.
Born in Mt. Kisco, New York, and raised in Trumbull, Connecticut, Brigg graduated from Trumbull High School before serving an LDS mission in Columbus, Ohio. He later earned a degree in Construction Management from Brigham Young University. On August 5, 2000, he married Amber Adamson in the Boise Idaho Temple, beginning a life filled with love, laughter, and shared adventures.
Brigg is survived by his beloved wife Amber and their three daughters—Ella, Cally, and Brynn—who were the light of his life. He is also survived by his mother Sandra Lichfield and siblings Cameron, Tiffin, Quinn, and Kori. He was preceded in death by his sister Carly and father Sterling.
A service to honor Brigg’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on August 16th at Aaron’s Mortuary and Cremation, 496 24th St., Ogden, UT 84401. He will be laid to rest at Ben Lomond Cemetery.
