Byron John Smith

March 6, 1977 — October 6, 2022

Byron John Smith, age 45, passed away October 6, 2022 after a long battle with Stage 4 Colon Cancer.  He was born in Logan, Utah on March 6, 1977 to Stephen K. Smith & Jane A. Pope & was a life-long member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

He was a delivery driver for a local company & loved his work. He enjoyed a great many things in his free time. He was a huge Star Wars fan & enjoyed volunteering for Salt Lake FanX convention every chance he had. He also loved camping, traveling, & boy did he love his Chevy Trucks!  Byron loved to sing & had a most beautiful voice. He loved to play Santa Clause & you could count on him for anything.
 
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, mother & father, his older brother - James K. Smith, Sr., & a niece - Brianna Ouellette.
 
He leaves behind 4 sisters & 1 brother: Sandra L. LeBatard, Kelly I. Timms, Lucas D. Smith, Malynda A. Pepin, & Mary J. Yocum, as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, co-workers, & so many others that he cared about.
 

Funeral service is scheduled for Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at 11 am  at Aaron's Mortuary, 496 24th Street, Ogden, UT.  A viewiing will be held prior to the funeral service  from 9:30 to 10:30 am at the mortuary.
