Carol Bernice` Fitzgerald

Carol passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2009. She was born February 28, 1929 to Ben and Florence Petersen. Carol married Boyd Franklin Fitzgerald February 1, 1950. He passed away March 5, 2007.

Carol graduated from Murray High School. Besides being a mom, she had many jobs in her life including working for the phone company and being a waitress.

Mom loved the color red, traveling, collecting dolls, reading, watching television, dancing, lunching and shopping with her friends and spending time with her family.

Carol is survived by her children; Joyce, Mike (Sherry), and on brother Glen, two grandchildren; Michael (Cindy), and Candice, three great-grandchildren; Alexa, Alyssa, Teghan.

She was preceded in death by her husband, son Kyle, grandchildren Jeremy and Jason.

A special thanks to Vista Care Hospice; Teresa, Bridget, Teresa, Dr. Hustad and the many nurses who took care of her, and to Kent Fitzgerald and Leigh Burton.

We are honoring Mom's wishes to not have a funeral, she only wanted to be remembered happy and alive. She will be deeply missed by those of us who loved her and remember what a "Pistol" she was.

I love you Mom.
