‘Bones’ Castien Hess, 24, of Ogden, Utah passed away on August 12th, 2025. He was born to Brian Flint and Aimee Hess on Thanksgiving Day, November 22nd, 2000. Castien was best known to others as ‘Bones’, an endeared name given to him by his father before his passing.
He was a role model to his younger siblings Makayla Vodden and Kameren Hess. He is survived by his mother Aimee, siblings Kameren, Makayla, Carlee, his significant other, Sidney John and his extended family.
From a young age he always took interest in video games and grew to love electronics. He was naturally good with computers and was proficient in software development and engineering. He earned his High School Diploma in 2022.
Bones often made lasting impacts on those around him and was truly extraordinary. He will be remembered for his many great qualities like being genuine, thoughtful, compassionate, funny, and for always helping others.
He faced every obstacle with bravery, strength and unwavering determination. He endured many hardships in life, but nothing could diminish his tenacity or resilience. Bones was someone driven by reason. He was loved and respected by so many and will forever be an inspiration to those closest to him. He was a blessing to this world and will be forever missed.
Services will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2025, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Aaron’s Mortuary & Crematory, 496 24th St., Ogden, Utah 84401.
