Charles Eugene Dabbs

Charles Eugene Dabbs, 68, of Windber PA, was born July 20, 1949, passed away Monday, September 4, 2017 from a 14-year battle with Alzheimers and Dementia.

He was a loving brother, father, uncle and grandfather, great- grandfather and friend. He loved hunting, fishing, being with nature in the mountains and spending as much time with family as possible. He was a man of great character with many friends.

Charles is survived by four brothers: Garry (Joy), Bob (Debbie), Jay (Maureen) and Don (Laura); sister in-law, Janet Dabbs; his children: Victoria Wainwright (Rob), Candy Dabbs-Leffler (Jason) and Scott Dabbs (Terri); his grandchildren: Michael, Deckar, Hadlie and Tara; his great-grandchildren: Dalton, Sciona, Kariah, Ardell; and many nieces and nephews in the Dabbs and Jones family. 

He returned into the loving arms of his parents and three brothers.  You have left a huge hole in our hearts, but your legacy will always remain with us forever ~ until we meet again!  We love you.
