Cheril Heiner Inglet passed away on January 27th in Ogden, Utah at the age of 93 after battling complications of age-related illnesses.

She was born on February 15th, 1932, in Ogden, Utah to parents Henry Bartly Heiner and LaVerne Farr Heiner. Her father moved their entire family to Mckinnon, Wyoming where he worked on the family ranch with his father (Grandfather), Two Brothers (Uncles) And Two Sisters (Aunts) and their children Cheril, her Brother and two Sisters, giving the family a ranching background and experience. The ranch was sold in 1941 causing her family to move back to Ogden, Utah.

Cheril attended and graduated from Ogden High School. She Attended Weber State College for two years and took a job working at Hill Air Force Base. There she met her husband, Melvin LeRoy Inglet. They married and started a family having five children together. They divorced several years after having their 5th child, leaving her to raise the children. Cheril worked hard to support her five children. She continued working at Hill Air Force Base for a total of Forty-one years before retiring.

During that time, she became a Contract Negotiator for the Base. She also took night classes at Weber State University and finished her College Degree in Logistics.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Garth Heiner, and her youngest son, Chet Inglet.

She is survived by her two sisters, Lael Heiner Gibby (Don), and Barta Heiner, her children, Cory Inglet (Ella), Michelle (Miki) Stoddard (Greg), Gina Maughan (Russell), Sue Inglet (Chet), and Jennifer Inglet, Eleven Grandchildren, Twelve Great Grandchildren and Two Great, Great Grandchildren along with family nieces and nephews, all of who loved and adored her.

Friends and Family will be gathering at Lindquist’s Mortuary North Ogden at 2140 North 400 East in North Ogden on February 10th, 2026, at 10 a.m. for viewing and family prayer.

Interment and a Graveside ceremony will be held at the Ogden City Cemetery, 1875 Monroe Blvd, in Ogden, Utah at 11 a.m.

The family is grateful for the care given their mother from the Doctors and staff of Ogden Regional Hospital, the kind staff of Stonehenge Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Therapy and Canyon Hospice Care.
