A special soul and his beloved dog Scooter passed away Monday, March 24, 2014. He was born October 4, 1947 to Sylvia J and Paul R. Herrera.
Clovie was a gifted lead guitar player and performed and toured with several local bands in the 60s and 70s.
He is survived by his mother, Sylvia Herrera; sisters, Neioma (Joe) Chavira, Irene (Dave) McCubbin; brothers, Paul Jr. and Johnny; granddaughter, Mikaela and grandson, Corbin.
He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Herrera, Sr; his son, Clovie Herrera Jr; his life partner, Susan Dunn; his brother, Nick Herrera, sisters, Maggie Ruedas and Josie Flores.
