Daren S. Reed

1969 – 2022

Daren Reed died on March 17, 2022.  Daren was born February 4, 1969.  He was a late addition to the family of Kenneth and Shirley Reed and his parents were ecstatic to have this new baby.  He was always a good friend to his older sister and brother, Sherry and Craig.  Another sister, Cynthia, died years before his birth.

He lived most of his life in Clearfield.  He graduated from Clearfield High school in 1987.  He worked at Regis Inventory, IRS, Hill AFB Commissary and Firehouse Subs.

Because of school bullying, Daren had a difficult time with social interactions, but his family who loved him knew him as a smart, funny and caring person.  He loved traveling, especially to beach locations, reading about geography, cooking and cooking shows, watching PBS comedies and mysteries, growing beautiful flowers, exotic tea blends, and debating both sides of political issues. 

Daren, you are greatly missed; now is your turn to soar!

On Friday, March 25, 2022, family members will say their good-byes at a private graveside ceremony at the Clearfield City Cemetery.
