I met David at Hidden Glen mobile home park..he was my neighbor and my friend...ahh I am so sad, and at the same time there s also a feeling of joy for him to enter a new realm .He was such a sweet friend..we went to church together, shopping, the movies and he cooked Thanksgiving dinner for myself, and all off my adult childrenwhen my ex rescinded an invitation at the very last minute.. They never forgot that or forgot Dave.. He was just so cute, so funny and everything you would ever want in a friend.. He will be so missed...My condolences and prayers for your family.....

We thoroughly enjoyed having Dave as a neighbor and a member of our Ward. He was a good man and he always had a smile on his face every time you saw him. He was an amazing example and taught all of us that no matter what challenges life gives you that you can always endure them. We will always remember fondly the time he took our family boating to Willard Bay. We are grateful for his friendship and we will dearly miss him. Rest in peace our friend. Sincerely the Windley Family.

Dave is one of the best people I have known. He has inspired me many times as I have realized what he has had to deal with. Despite his handicap, he was able to do more things than I thought someone like him could do, often against my medical recommendations. His spirit was indomitable. His smile was engaging and reassuring. His personality was encouraging. When I visited him in the hospital or the nursing home I came away feeling better about life because of his positive faithful attitude. Heaven is a much better place with Dave there.

You have been a good friend of mine for many years. Always the person that i would call when i had a bad day to make me feel alot better even tho compared to all your struggles mine were insignificant in comparison . Made me laugh with your crazy jokes Loved the competition on who would have the darkest tan. Always remember climbing under his prone cart at the hospital and painting his toenails :) Always inspired me to be a better person. I would talk to my patients about you encouraging them to be the person that would take on any challenge like you did. Strongest faith and a heart of gold . Proud to call you my friend. You taught me alot. Im going to miss you so much. Fly free my friend.. Catch you on the other side Aroha nui ahau ki a koe
