Debra Leora Roush Bennett

Debra passed away peacefully with her family by her side on March 7, 2024. 

Debra was born October 14, 1960, to U. Jay Roush and Connie T. Roush and grew up in Salt Lake City and West Bountiful, Utah.

Debra married the love of her life, Robert Bennett on November 10, 1990.

She was so happy to spend time with her family and call them to say “Hi” and that she loved them. Debra attended Viewmont High School. 

Debra loved doing crafts with her children, like painting and drawing. Christmas was Deb’s favorite time of year to spend with family.

Debra is survived by her husband, Robert Bennett; mother, Connie Turner Roush; sons, Ernest S Roush, and Robert Jr. Bennett; daughters: Heidi Roush, Stephanie (Eli) Burke, Shanalee Bennett, and Sarah Bennett; sisters, Jaylynn (Ferrin) Secrist and Lisa (Ron) Jensen; and 10 grandchildren she loved unconditionally. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Connie Lynn Roush; father, U. Jay Roush; brothers, Kevin Roush, and Jeffrey Roush; grandson, Ethan Burke; and nephew, Jeremy Roush.

The family would love to give thanks to Rocky Mountain Care where Debbie spent the last 10 years.

Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2024, from 4 to 8 p.m. at 625 Country Creek Drive, Layton, UT 84041.
