August 7, 1967 — February 3, 2009

ROY-Devin E. Haws passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2009 at his home in Roy, UT. of cancer. He was born in Roseberg, OR. to Varnell and Arlene Smith Haws.

Devin lived in Utah all of his life, only leaving periodically for work. He loved farm work and milking cows. He enjoyed working on cars and was a great mechanic. Devin loved the outdoor life camping, fishing and finding the best fishing hole. He also loved skiing with his daughters.

He was married to Christy Jones they had three daughters; Katelyn, Ashley, Jessica and one granddaughter Lillyan, they later separated.

Devin found his life partner JoAnne Goodridge, which brought a lot of joy for both, as they loved fishing, camping, laughing and crying together through the years. The last few years Devin had to limit his hobbies due to his illness, also with a lung disorder.

He is survived by his life partner JoAnn Goodridge, three daughters; Ashley, Jessica and Katelyn and his granddaughter Lillyan and his parents. He is also survived by two brothers; Alan (Catherine) and Ron (Tammy) and three sisters; Kay Dawn (Richard), Deborah (Brent) and Lorrie (Arthur), a host of nieces and nephews.

Devin was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 9, 2009 a€" Ben Lomond Cemetery, 526 E. 2850 N. North Ogden, UT. A viewing will be held on Sunday, February 8, 2009 from 5-7:00 p.m. at Aaron's Mortuary & Crematory 1600 Washington Blvd. Ogden, UT.
