Eliacim Jehu Zamora

August 3, 1985 — October 24, 2021

Eliacim Jehu Zamora Perez aka “Ely”, 36, passed away in a tragic car accident on October 24, 2021. He is survived by his beautiful wife, Laura Zamora and his sweet daughter Summer Micaile Zamora. He was born August 13, 1985 to Victor and Martha Zamora and was part of a loving family of 3 sisters, Nancy Duron, Sarai Renteria and Janelle McCurdy.
Ely grew up in Lynwood, California but moved to Ogden Utah where he met and married his wife Laura in July of 2007. He later welcomed into the world his precious little baby girl in 2012. He was a loving, devoted husband and father who tried to give his family everything he didn’t have while growing up. Ely lived by “my family comes first” and showed it by his kindness and willingness to lend a helping hand. He was the “tech guy” in our family and was the go-to person when “technical difficulties” arose. He was our “Direct Tv guy” our “Apple specialist” and our “Car tech Advisor” but most importantly he was a true friend, a loving son and an awesome brother. Those who knew Ely, even just a little, can agree we lost a shining light in our lives. When anyone needed him, he was ready in a moments’ notice, even willing to travel nine-hours in each direction to be there for his family and friends. Ely cared and loved people for who they were and wished the best for them without asking nothing in return.

He will be missed greatly by his Wife, Daughter, Mom, Dad, Sisters and his entire family and friends. But just like Ely did, we harbor the hope for the day when Jehovah God will call on his name to rise again. We will stand firm in faith till the day we can finally welcome him with open arms in the “New World” where God “will wipe out every tear from our eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning, nor outcry, nor pain be anymore. And the former things have passed away”. (Revelation 21:4)
On that glorious day, we will never again have to say goodbye to our sweet dear Ely.

He Will Call
(Job 14:13-15)
1. Life, like a mist, appears for just a day,
Then disappears tomorrow.
All that we are can quickly fade away,
Replaced with tears and sorrow.
If a man should die, can he live again?
Hear the promise God has made:
(CHORUS)
He will call; The dead will answer.
They shall live at his command.
For he will have a longing
For the work of his own hand.
So have faith, and do not wonder,
For our God can make us stand.
And we shall live forever,
As the work of his own hand.
2. Friends of our God, though they may pass away,
Will never be forsaken.
All those asleep who in God’s mem’ry stay,
From death he will awaken.
Then we’ll come to see all that life can be:
Paradise eternally.
(CHORUS)
He will call; The dead will answer.
They shall live at his command.
For he will have a longing
For the work of his own hand.
So have faith, and do not wonder,
For our God can make us stand.
And we shall live forever,
As the work of his own hand.
