Elizabeth Craghead

October 1, 1938 — December 28, 2017

Our beautiful sweet soul Elizabeth Duram Craghead came into this world on October 1, 1938 in Powell, Wyoming to Joseph and Andrea Duran. Our beloved wife, mother, grandma, GG, went to be with our Lord peacefully on December 28, 2017.  She had 11 brothers and 4 sisters. She married the love of her life, LeRoy Henry Craghead on February 12, 1955. They were blessed with 6 children. They were later sealed in the Logan LDS Temple.

She completed her high school education in Box Elder County. She worked at Brigham Apparel, Maddox, and the Forest Service.

She was a resident of Brigham City for 50 years, and spent her last 12 years in Ogden.

Liz was wild at heart and loved to travel. She always had a smile on her face, and cared deeply for everyone who crossed her path. Liz was a go getter in everything she did, she was a hard worker and loved her family dearly. Always wanted to look her best for everyone. Liz enjoyed crocheting, taking care of her 18 grandchildren, playing cards and camping with her family. She loved exercising and you could always count on her to be there whenever she was needed. Liz was adored by many and will be greatly missed.

Elizabeth is survived by LeRoy, her husband of 62 years; children, Linda Daundivier, Cindy (Carl) Sherman, LeRoy (Ellen) Craghead, Reed Craghead, and Melanie Craghead; 18 grandchildren; 53 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren; 4 brothers; Chris (Johnnie Mae) Duram, Joe Duram, Bill (Alice) Duram, and Larry Duram. Many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Donna Craghead, son-in-law Larry Daundivier and 12 siblings.
