Elmo Flores, 65, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather passed away on July 13, 2024, in Ogden, Utah. He was born September 29, 1958, in Mexico to loving parents who instilled in him a strong work ethic and deep sense of family values. Elmo was a loving and caring family man, cherished by all who knew him.
Elmo’s life was filled with love and devotion to his family. He met the love of his life, Carmen Flores, at a young age and they built a beautiful life together. Their love and bond for each other was unbreakable.
Elmo worked hard and long hours, but always made time for his family. He enjoyed taking his family out on fishing trips. When he became a grandfather, his new love became attending his grandkids sporting events and activities. His grandkids knew if they were playing a game, or performing an activity they could count on him, being in attendance.
He is survived by his wife, Carmen, and their children: Marvin, Kevin, and Vanessa. Elmo was a proud grandfather to: Daemian, Isiah, Cicily, Kitzley, Aiden, Easton, and his great-grandson, Sebastian.
He was preceded in death by his father, Pedro Flores.
Elmo’s life and legacy will be remembered fondly by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Funeral Mass will be held Friday, July 26, 2024, at 12 noon at St Joseph Catholic Church, 514 24th Street, Ogden, Utah 84401.
