Florencio Ruben Avila (Rifle)

Our beloved Dad, grandpa, great grandpa, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend took his last breath to return to our Heavenly Father Thursday.

We will miss his daily routine of getting up late morning, having his coffee and cigarette, followed by breakfast, and popping open his first can of beer for the day. He enjoyed watching old Westerns, action movies, Kung Fu movies, listening to Elvis Presley, and oldies. He loved his family dearly and would give the shirt off his back if he had to.

Survived by 3 daughters, 1 son: Nora, Anna (Zo), Elvis, Monica; 12 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Mary (Vic) and Rose; 2 brothers, James and Phil (Lisa); and lots of nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Florencio Avila; mother, Rose Avila Lopez; brother, Anselmo; Uncle Walter (Erma); grandson, Da'Neil; granddaughter, Rhiannon; sister-in-law, Shaunna; and son-in-law, Jamal.

He will be loved and missed by all who knew him.

Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 3 p.m. at Walden Pavilion, 5425 South Murray Parkway Avenue (1070 West), Murray, Utah 84123.
