Gail A Armenta

December 30, 1947 — November 23, 2021

Gail Arnold Armenta passed away on November 23, 2021; welcomed home by her best buddy, and love of her life Ray.

Gail was born December 30th 1947 in Ogden UT, daughter of Albert Kenneth Arnold and Gladys Elaine Burton. Gail was the youngest of four children born to the Arnold family. She grew up in Ogden, and graduated from Ben Lomond High School. If you knew Gail, you knew she grew up tough, strong willed, with a loving and compassionate heart. She had a close relationship with her parents and family. Gail was always happy at family gatherings, and parties. She loved to reminisce with her brother Dennis, and talk on the phone with her sister Karla. Gail took special care of her mother and father, especially in the years of their infirmity.
Gail married her best friend Raymundo Armenta on July 1st 1977 in Harrisville Utah. Together they built a home in Clearfield where they lived together for over 30 years. Gail and Ray had a remarkable relationship. They lovingly referred to one another as “buddies”, and they were, in fact, best friends. When Ray passed away it left a hole in Gail’s heart that couldn’t be filled. She longed for the day they could be together again. In her years without Ray, Gail found companionship in her dog Raynie, friends to the end, Raynie accompanied Gail to the last days of her life. Though we’ll miss Gail’s sassy and sweet spirit, we know she is finally at peace in the arms of her dear Ray.
Gail was preceded in death by her parents Albert Kenneth Arnold, Gladys Elaine Burton Arnold, and sister Joanne Arnold Sangberg. She is survived by her sister Karla Jean Arnold Morgan (Reno, NV), brother Dennis Kay Arnold (Willard, UT), and Step-Children Raymundo Armenta Jr., Ventura C. Bosselman, and Eva S. Armenta, four grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
