She worked at the IRS for 46 years before she retired. Gaye grew up on Wilson Lane and loved telling stories about her childhood on the family farm. She often recalled the animals they had-sometimes including mean turkeys that would chase her and her sisters. When she was younger, she enjoyed going to dances at Hill Air Force Base with her sisters and friends.
Gaye was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and carried a strong testimony. She served in many callings and especially loved the scouting program and served for many years.
Above all, Gaye cherished the time she spent with her family. She loved planning and going on family vacations and going camping with her family. She loved big family parties. She enjoyed dancing and singing to Mamma Mia and Whitney Houston. In her free time Gaye loved crocheting and sewing. She liked to spend time shopping and having lunch with her friends.
