OGDEN a€" On February 19, 2009 Gerald R. Griffin, husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend passed over at his home. He was born in Logan, Utah on August 12, 1925, a son of Ute Elon and Millie Redford Griffin.

He was raised in Logan and attended schools there. He spent two years in the United States Air Force.. He married Nedra Shepherd on October 14, 1949 in Logan, Utah, later sealed in the Logan Temple on July 22, 1952.

He retired from Mountain. Bell Telephone CA. after thirty-three years of service. He loved to collect trains, played tennis, swimming and roller skating. He spent a lot of time with his four sons and taught them many things a€" plus honesty, excellent work ethics and self-sufficiency-his motto was "Always do your Best".

He leaves behind for now his wife Nedra, four sons; Steven, Richard (Kathy), Mark, Greg (Tracy) Griffin, seven grand-children, four great-grandchildren, one brother Elon.

We will miss him more than words can say.

Per his request, his body was cremated. True to his nature, he was adamant that no services be held. His hope was that those he left behind think of him with a smile and celebrate his life and not mourn his death. He will be dearly missed, but he leaves us all with many wonderful memories a€" we love you.
