Harry Francis Petrie

Harry Francis Petrie, known as “Pete” to many, passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2025.

He was born on December 26, 1942, in Bath, New York, to Harold and Thelma Marvin Petrie.

On October 1, 1961, he married Carolyn Marie Lundgren in Sacramento, California. He was a loving husband and a wonderful and caring father to both of their children, Sheri and Robert. Carolyn passed away on August 11, 2013.

He fought in the Vietnam War and then had a lifetime career as an air traffic controller. He was a giver and was present in his children and grandchildren’s lives.

Since Carolyn passed in 2013, Harry’s wish was to be by her side. Now that he is, I’m sure that he has a giant smile of happiness once again.
