James L Briggs

James L. Briggs was born in Bountiful, Utah. to Hal Briggs and Joann Larsen on May 10, 1960. He had one  sister and three brothers. He passed away after a short illness on July 28, 2018 at the Ogden Regional Medical Center.

He had a wonderful childhood along the Bountiful Bench. He loved horseback riding, driving truck and dispatching for JC Bangerter & Sons with his brothers where he made many friends. He also competed in bareback riding in the rodeo for some time.  Jim enjoyed fishing and camping with his children. He taught his grandkids to love horses and horseback riding. He is survived by his children: Tina Tullis, Heather Schmidt, James (Hal) Briggs, and Richard L. Briggs;  grandchildren: Jesse and Jacob Tullis, Justin Ferreira, Cheyenne & Dallen Schmidt, RiQuel & Raiden Briggs; his sister and three brothers; many nieces and nephews. 

He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Our dad will be dearly missed but always in our hearts.

A gathering of friends and family will be held on Sunday, August 5, 2018 from 7 to 9 pm in the Relief Society Room at the Farmington Stake House, 347 South 200 West, Farmington, Utah.
