Janice Louise Perry devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter passed away on a beautiful sunny Spring day, April 26th, 2025. You gained your heavenly wings and left behind the broken pieces of your earthly body and led us all out of the dreadful hospital doors and took to your flight with our Savior Jesus and began a new glorious journey away from your chapters with us on this earth.

Born in Springfield, Illinois, to Aaron and Emma Blair, Janice was a remarkable woman whose heart blossomed like the beautiful gardens she tended. A master flower gardener, she found joy in the simplest pleasures—dragonflies dancing in the breeze, the gentle sound of chimes, and the warm presence of angels. She created a nurturing home filled with laughter and love, cherishing moments spent camping, fishing, and boating with her family. She was our biggest cheerleader and made us feel so special and loved.

Janice's passion extended beyond her home; she adored music, games, and dancing, and had a special fondness for sports cars. Above all, she treasured the gatherings with family and friends, where memories were made and bonds deepened. Known for her fashionable attire, she had a flair for style that reflected her vibrant spirit.

With a heart as big as her love for her community, Janice dedicated herself to charitable endeavors, generously supporting children, the homeless, animals, and law enforcement. Her kindness knew no bounds, as she touched the lives of many with her selfless acts.

Janice was a devoted wife to her beloved husband, Kenneth J. Perry, celebrating 62 beautiful years together this November 9. She leaves behind her cherished children—Julie Ann (Scott), Darla (Kent), and Derek—along with an adoring family that includes her sister Lora (Jack) Williams and brother Daniel Blair. She was a proud grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother to Travis (Jessica) and family; Heather (Tim) and their children: Trista, Baylee, Kahner, Aspen (expecting Roman); Autumn (Josh) and their children Hudson and expecting Hartlin; Carli and her children Leila and Lacey; Aaron, Clint, Mykel, and Jacob. And many very loved nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents, sisters Sharon (Kay) Bird and Shirley June Blair, and brothers Sonny (Lynn) Blair and Lee Blair, Janice’s legacy of love will continue to shine through her family and all who knew her. She traveled and lived in beautiful places like Arizona, Laughlin, Mesquite, and Riverdale, Utah, but her greatest treasure remained the love she cultivated at home.

A private family celebration of Janice's life took place in July, honoring the beautiful soul she was. In her memory, we invite you to plant a tree, allowing her spirit to live on in nature, a testament to the life she cherished.

As we remember Janice, we hold close the comforting words: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
