Jesus "Chuy" James Martinez

Jesus Martinez, 52, of Ogden, Utah returned to his Heavenly Father on May 28, 2024.  

Chuy was a unique character with a big, loving heart and an enormous sense of humor. He had a radiant personality and could start a conversation with anyone. He enjoyed spending his free time fishing with his dad. His biggest pride and joy were his daughters. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Eddie Martinez; and grandparents: Jose and Antonia Gutierrez, and Edwardo and Isabella Martinez. He is survived by his mother, Theresa (David) Brown; brother, Lee (Crystal) Gutierrez; daughters: Seleste Martinez, Alissa Martinez, Tyanna Brewer and Antoynette Martinez; nieces: Bella Gutierrez, Theresa Gutierrez, and Rhonda Gutierrez; many aunts, uncles, and millions of cousins. 

His lovable presence will be deeply missed. “I know your life on earth was troubled. Go rest high on that mountain, son your work on earth is done.”
