I'm proud to consider John my dear friend. I know of no one would lived life to it's fullest. I played ball with John for years and he was a truly gifted ball player. He had the prettiest swing of any I ever saw. I will remember him with great love.

May God bless his soul. I'll always remember John's grin behind his sunglasses as he shared stories about you and Wendy and the good 'ol days. I remember meeting him the first time and was taken by his relaxed style, charm and warmth. I'll miss him. Love and condolences to all the extended family

So Sorry to learn of John's passing. He and Jim Camnes were the star players of our 1965high school and summer league baseball teams. It wascommon for several pro scouts to attend our games just to evaluate them. Years later, he and other friends from our school dayswouldattend some ofmy late night fast-pitch softball games partlyto cheer for me and mine; but mainly to againshare the great memories of ourshared history. He was an even better friend than a ball-player. And again, he was a great ball-player.
You have our condolences. We share in your grief.
