Juan Rascon Fuentes, a remarkable individual whose life journey touched many, passed away peacefully on October 10, 2025, in Brigham City, Utah, surrounded by family. Born on December 7, 1936, in Pino Cuate, Madera, Mexico, the son of Rosa Fuentes and Juan Rascon. Juan's life was characterized by his strength, creativity, and unwavering love for those around him.

Juan married his sweetheart, Rosalie Rascon Costalez in 1981 in Casper, Wyoming.

Throughout his career, Juan was known as a "jack of all trades." His extensive work experience included service on oil rigs, cultivating pine trees, and as a wrangler for a ranch in Casper, Wyoming. Additionally, he utilized his mechanical skills as an automobile mechanic, showcasing his ability to work in diverse environments and reflect a spirit of versatility in all that he undertook.

Juan was known for his playful personality; he liked to joke around and bring smiles to faces, demonstrating a loving and kind nature that left an indelible mark on his family and friends. His creativity blossomed through hobbies that involved making things with his hands, with particularly unique photo displays out of metal and wires.

One of Juan’s proudest accomplishments was becoming a citizen of the United States, a testament to his dedication and commitment to his new home.

Juan is survived by his wife Rosalie, his children, Arnulfo Rascon, Rosa Imelda Rascon Cordova, Juan (Shelia) Rascon, Fernado (Jody) Costalez, Saul (Silvia) Rascon, Blas (Rosie) Rascon, Susanne (Antonio) Campos, Dora Alicia Rascon (Blas Tonche) Cordova and Gabby Rascon, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also survived by his siblings Miquel Rascon, Alejandrina Rascon, Rosester Barron and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his sons Lalo Rascon and Mike Aguirre, his daughter Anna Abilez, and his siblings Lucy Rascon and Reyes Rascon.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate his life during a gathering on October 17, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., followed by a Time for Sharing Memories at 5:00 p.m. at Aaron's Brigham City Mortuary, 888 South Main Street, Brigham City, Utah.

Juan Rascon Fuentes will be remembered for his loving spirit, craftsmanship, and the joy he imparted to those around him. His legacy will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.


Juan Rascón Fuentes, una persona extraordinaria cuyo viaje de vida conmovió a muchos, falleció pacíficamente el 10 de octubre de 2025 en Brigham City, Utah, rodeado de su familia. Nació el 7 de diciembre de 1936 en Pino Cuate, Madera, México, hijo de Rosa Fuentes y Juan Rascón. La vida de Juan se caracterizó por su fuerza, creatividad y amor inquebrantable por quienes lo rodeaban.

Juan se casó con su novia, Rosalie Rascón Costalez en 1981 en Casper, Wyoming.

También le sobreviven sus hermanos Miquel Rascón, Alejandrina Rascón, Rosester Barrón y varias sobrinas y sobrinos.

Le preceden en la muerte sus padres, sus hijos Lalo Rascón y Mike Aguirre, su hija Anna Abilez y sus hermanos Lucy Rascón y Reyes Rascón.

Se invita a familiares y amigos a celebrar su vida durante una reunión el 17 de octubre de 2025, de 4:00 p.m. a 5:00 p.m., seguida de un Tiempo para compartir recuerdos a las 5:00 p.m. en la funeraria Aaron's Brigham City, 888 South Main Street, Brigham City, Utah.
