Our beloved Madrecita, hermana, tia and friend Julia Ann Valdez, was born June 15, 1955 to Teresa Martinez and Isidro Aragon. She was a believer in Christ and Accepted Jesus as her lord and savior at an early age. She graduated High School and attended Catholic School of The Archdiocese of San Antonio and completed the requirements for graduation and was honored with her diploma on May 21st 1971. She was a strong women who overcame many adversities in her life. She was a very eccentric woman and regardless of being misunderstood she never let her challenges define her. She always stayed strong and lived her life to its fullest. She was very proud and happy with life. She had a great sense of humor and could always make you laugh even when she wasn’t trying. Anyone who had the privilege of knowing her can say she was a happy woman and always willing to help. She worked for many years as a social worker advocate at S.O.C.I.O. for the migrant and Spanish speaking community. She married her high school sweetheart Gaspar H. Valdez Jr. on August 5, 1972. Two precious gifts were born from that union, Veronica Valdez and Gaspar Valdez III Julia was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt. She enjoyed spending time with family, celebrating birthdays and holidays, cooking, shopping, collecting and reading books. She was very spiritually gifted, intuitive and blessed. She loved to experience new foods some of her favorites were cheeseburgers ,fish fillets and Kentucky fried chicken. She loved her coffee, Pepsi, and coke. She loved company She was fluent in English, Spanish and Chinese. Julia Ann Valdez left her body and went on to be with Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on September 19, 2021. She will forever be missed and loved by all who knew her. Julia leaves to cherish her memories a loving daughter, Veronica ; son, Gaspar; 14 Grandchildren; 15 Great Grandchildren, many siblings, and other relatives. She was preceded in death by Her mother Teresa Martinez

Memorial Service Will be held at The Potters House Church. 618 State St, Clearfield Ut 84015. Time of service: Thursday September 30, at 5:30pm.


Mother From you our life began. To grow and be a beautiful women and honorable man. For you we take a stand. To let your memories live on. From Dusk till dawn. We vow to be Strong. You are our light, through day and night, because of you we know wrong from right. You showed us how to laugh and explained why we cry. Teaching us through life. We couldn’t ask for more. Who's to say what's in store, but one things for sure. For you we plan to soar. You have been everything we ever need. You will forever live on in our memory. From your unconditional love to everything above.
Dear Julia, Though your smile is gone forever, and your hand I cannot touch. I still have memories. Of the one I love so much. Your memory is my keepsake, with which I will never part. God has you in his keeping. I have you in my heart. Sadly missed but never forgotten. Love you.
