Karen C Brown

Karen was born in Brigham City, Utah, the youngest child of Eugene Ray Chidester and Viola Rae Price.
She married Jim Brown August 18, 1967. She spent most of her working years at Bourns, retiring from
the Internal Revenue Service in 2014. She loved dogs and will be greatly missed by her crazy Sadie Mae
that was always by her side.

Karen enjoyed reading, quilting, crocheting, sewing, camping and fishing. Most of all she loved spending
time with her family.

She is survived by her son, Brian (RaeAnn) Brown; grandchildren Colby (Mandy) Brown and Brandie
Nelson; five great-grandchildren: Jexxen, Owen, Jayde, Aria, and Malia. All of whom she loved very
much.

She is preceded in death by her parents Eugene Chidester and Viola Price, husband Jim Brown, and
sister Lynda Chidester.

The family wishes to thank the 3rd floor nursing staff at McKay-Dee Hospital and Inspiration Home
Health and Hospice for their care and compassion during this difficult time.

As per Karen’s request, she was cremated. Graveside services will be held September 26, 2023 at 11am
at the Riverview Cemetery, 175 E 1200 S Tremonton, UT 84337.
