Kelly Kay Kester

Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, Kelly, passed away peacefully due to ongoing heath complications.

Kelly was born to Charles Ray Christensen and Betty Louise (Mosley) Christensen on August 27, 1958. She was the 6th out of 7 children. She was raised in Hooper, Utah, and that’s where she married the love of her life of 42 years, Arlen Jay Kester. Together they raised 3 kids, Robert Haddon, Casey Hamblin, and Jennifer Kester. 

Kelly had a career in Davis County schools and worked at Vae View Elementary for 20 years until she had to retire to raise her grandsons with special needs, Roman and Timothy. Kelly had the biggest heart and it showed in the way she cared for her family and everyone else around her. 

Kelly is survived by her husband, Jay; her sons, Bob and Casey; her grandsons: Roman, Timothy, and Noah; 4 siblings: Skip (Becky) Christensen, Sandy Haddon, Peggy (Roger) Watt, and Becky (Jerry) Taylor; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, JJ; mom, Betty; dad, Chick; brother, Joey; and sister, Terry. What a beautiful reunion it had to have been!

Services will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at 1 p.m. at the LDS church located at 220 W 975 N, Sunset, UT 84015.
