Kenneth was born August 13, 1982, in Logan, Utah to Douglas and Jo Ann Varner. After a short illness he passed away on November 19, 2024.
He lived in the Logan Utah area until 1990 and then moved to Newport News, Virginia. He attended elementary, middle school, and high school in Newport News, Virginia. He graduated from Denbigh High School in 2001. He was on the high school baseball team and wrestling team. He attended Virginia Intermont College in Bristol, Virginia on a baseball scholarship and was on the college baseball team. After college he moved to Pennsylvania. He moved to Ogden, Utah 3 years ago.
He loved sports, camping, hunting, and NASCAR. He was fortunate enough with his college baseball team to work concessions at the Bristol Raceway in Bristol, Virginia. He was able to go to a NASCAR race in Richmond, Virginia. He had a great love for animals. He leaves behind his best friend, Dexter, his dog.
He leaves behind his daughter, KayLynn (Pennsylvania), mother, Jo Ann (Ogden); sister, Jennifer (Ogden); brothers, Shawn (Ogden) and William (Gina) Idaho; many aunts, uncles, and cousins. His was preceded in death by his father, Douglas, and grandparents, Kenneth and Earlene Varner, Jerry and Lucille Blevins.
Family surrounded Kenneth when he passed away quietly.
The family would like to thank the McKay-Dee Hospital ICU doctors and nurses who took very special care of Kenneth.
