Lance Holden

April 14, 1965 – August 26, 2023

Our amazing husband, father, grandfather (“Papa”), son, brother, uncle, nephew, and friend passed away on Saturday, August 26, 2023.

Lance was born in Ogden, UT to parents Norman and Karen Holden. He grew up in South Ogden, UT and graduated from Bonneville High School.

Lance married his sweetheart and the love of his life, Jill, on February 26, 2011.

He was a proud member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union, Local 312, and enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, working on trucks, and drinking beer.

Lance cared deeply for his family and friends and was the first to offer help to those in need.

He is survived by his loving wife, Jill Holden; children Cody (Jerica) Holden, Tina (Jason) Riser, Shaylee (Hunter) Gines, and Morgan Lane; 6 grandchildren; mother, Karen (Norman) Holden; sisters Julie (Russell) Rasmussen and Sherrie (David) Maynard; several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews; and an abundance of friends.

He is preceded in death by his father Norman (Karen) Holden and nephew Ian Maynard.

Lance was a spit-fire who lived his life full throttle. He had a contagious laugh, gave the best hugs, and will be greatly missed by all who loved him.

A viewing will be held Thursday, August 31^st, 2023 from 6-8pm at Aaron’s Mortuary , 496 24^th St in Ogden, UT. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
