Laurie Bluth

Laurie Bluth passed away August 25, 2022 in Ogden. She was born on August 5, 1945, and adopted by Lawrence and Blanch Shaw Bluth. Laurie graduated with honors from Ogden High School and Weber State University. She had a 40-year career as a medical technologist working in many states as well as Germany.

Laurie was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She served in many callings from music to gospel doctrine. She was an ordinance worker in the Anchorage Alaska Temple and served a Family Search Mission.                

Laurie was an accomplished ballerina, pianist and sang in many choirs. She enjoyed needle work and created beautiful knit, crocheted and tatted items.

Surviving are her children Shane Pedersen and Dana Pedersen.  She is also survived by her best friend for 69 years, Kay Lundquist Evans. 

 Private services were held.  Arrangements entrusted to Aaron’s Mortuary of Ogden.
