Lawrence W. Ford (Larry) peacefully passed away on February 8, 2022 from a stroke. He was born on September 30, 1961 in Ogden, Utah to James L. Ford, Jr and Doris M. Prawitt. Larry was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Larry enjoyed being outdoors. In his younger days he loved to go hunting with his dad and uncles. He loved fishing, camping, playing games with his mom, tinkering with small tools and fixing broken bicycles, making up silly rhyming poems and socializing with family and friends.
Larry had a very soft heart. He would give you the shirt off his back. He enjoyed helping the elderly people in his neighborhood. He was always kind.
He is survived by one son, Preston J. Ford; sister, Jody F. Drake (L. Marshall Drake) of West Point; brother, James A. Ford of Ogden; 8 nieces and nephews and 11 great-grand nieces and nephews, and very special aunt, Alice Green.
Larry is preceded in death by both parents.
