Lorena Cardenas

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lorena Cardenas, who left us on July 7, 2025, at the age of 52.

Lorena was a beloved mother, wife, sister, and friend.

Originally from Tapachula, Mexico, Lorena was unforgettable to anyone who met her. She was one of the most caring and loving people you could know, always making everyone feel special in her own way — and her cooking was truly amazing.

Lorena loved to have a good time, whether that meant going to Wendover, dancing, or even fishing. She was the fun grandma and aunt who made every holiday memorable.

Many were surprised to learn that she had been sick and needed a kidney transplant, but that never stopped her. She faced every challenge with strength and courage.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her memory will live on in our hearts.

Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025, at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 4050 South 3900 West, West Haven, Utah 84405.
