Lynda Carole Hall was born on October 21, 1946, in Lake Forest, Illinois to her parents, Ruth and Doug. She passed away due to medical negligence and malpractice in Ogden Regional's care, on October 27th, 2025, at 11:45pm, in Utah.
Lynda was the hardest worker ever known. She worked for nearly 30 years at the Ogden IRS as a Data Coach and Tax Examiner. She worked as a branch manager in Illinois for years as well, before her move to Utah in 1985.
She is survived by her one and only son John Hall, whom was her full-time caretaker since 2009, Penelope, and her two grandchildren who she loved more than life, Payton Lyn Hall and Johnny Lawrence Hall.
Lynda was a warrior. An impeccable mother. An avid book reader. A horse rider. A cowgirl. A devoted Christian...who was led in salvation by Pastor Darrin Smith in Layton. Baptized by the great Pastor Rod Hall in 2012, at Faith Baptist Church. She loved donating to St. Jude's every commercial she would see. She loved horseback riding in the mountains, loved country music and Days of Our Lives. She is definitely with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Just taken unfairly, and way too early. Rest easy now Mom. You are the best there ever was! We miss and love you so much. It will never be the same without you.
