Maria was the adored daughter of Jesus Garcia and Audelia Raya. In March 1977, she united in marriage with Salvador Muniz, embarking on a journey of love and commitment that spanned decades. As a devoted Catholic, her faith was a cornerstone of her life, guiding her actions and nurturing her spirit.
She found immense joy in her family—her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy. Cooking for them, visiting loved ones, and nurturing relationships were her favorite pastimes. Maria lived a life characterized by hard work and dedication, always striving to ensure that everyone around her was happy and successful. Her achievements as a wife, mother, and grandmother were marked by selflessness and unwavering support.
Maria is survived by her daughters, Maricela Muniz (Francisco) and Jakelin (Miguel), and her sons, Jesus Muniz (Amy), Chava Muniz (Rosalba), and Fabian (Veronica) Muniz. She took great pride in her grandchildren: Zaraya, Abby, Jr., Edwin, Angel, Cristian, Fabian Jr., Lupe, Eric, Alex, Anthony, Natalia, Sofia, Yolanda, Angela, and Miguel Jr., and great grandchild, Annalea, each of whom carries a piece of her spirit with them.
Maria was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Jose Luis, Ramon, and Cayetano, grandson Fabian 1st Jr., and niece Monica Naranjo. Though she has departed from this earthly realm, her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
We extend our deepest gratitude for the support and love you have shown for our beloved Maria during this time. Your kindness and remembrance will be cherished just as much as her memory will be kept alive among us.
