Mary Adele Lewis

Adele was born on May 3, 1930 in Waco, Texas to Sam and Willie Mae Betros.

She traveled the world as a Military wife of Hugh A. Lewis during the 50's and 60's.they were later divorced. She moved to College Station, Texas in the late 60's and worked and retired from the USDA and from Texas A&M University. 

She was preceded in death by her son Tommy Lewis and all of her siblings.

She is survived by her son Monty (Cindie) Lewis of Layton, UT. Grandsons Alex (Ashley) Lewis and Michael Lewis; . her great granddaughters Georgia Lynn and Lily Mae.

We would like to thank the staff at Chancellor Gardens for the excellent care and friendship they have provided Adele. We would also like to thank all of her Bingo 

buddies for the fun and companionship you all shared with her. You helped make her last few years happy and fun. 

We will be taking her home to her beloved state of Texas for graveside services and burial to be held at a later date in Waco.
