Michael James Hopkins

NO. OGDEN-Michael James Hopkins, the "Reluctant Vagabond" passed away August 13, 2008 at home, after a long battle with lung cancer. Michael was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corp, serving his country with pride during the Vietnam era. He was an adventurous soul with a taste for the enigmatic. He enjoyed living abroad, sailing, and cultural exploration. Michael was an accomplished artist including painting, writing, model creation, and photography. His work is still exhibited in various locations throughout the US and Virgin Island. Michael leaves behind his son Beau, grandsons; Schoen and Harlan of Las Vegas Nevada, daughters; Aspen, Rheannon, granddaughters; Kiera, Rheagan and Shyann of Ogden Utah, His father James, sister; Sally of Redford Michigan, brother; John of Toledo Ohio, Uncles George and Paul of Casa Grande Arizona, step sisters; Beverly, Alice and Beth Ann of Detroit Michigan. He will be missed by his family & friends worldwide. He is preceded in death by his mother Ellen and brother Jimmy.

Cremation is under the direction of Aaron's Mortuary & Crematory 1600 Washington Blvd. Ogden, UT.
