Michael Duane Udink

Our loving father and grandpa, Michael Duane Udink, was reunited with his mother, father, and sister on the morning of May 31, 2022. He was born to Richard Duane Udink (Udell) and Hazel Roberta Powell on September 20, 1956, in Ogden, Utah. He was married to Janet Bertagnolli in 1976 and later divorced. This union brought three children, six grandchildren, and one great-grandson. Mike, aka ‘Gip’. He loved playing ball, golfing, playing the horses, and fishing with his kids and grandkids; drawing, listening to Bob, and having his coffee or Coke at the sportsbook. He fondly reminisced about his visit to Jamaica. His grandkids never failed to bring a smile to his face, even in his last hours.

Michael is survived by his brother Richard, his children Jesse Michael, Melanie Hazel (Steve), and Rex Duane (Briana); his grandchildren Brayden, Landen, Korbin, Maximus, Adrien, and Azalya; and his great-grandson Bentley. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Suzan Johnson.

Services will be held on Tuesday, June 7, 2022, from 9:30-11:30 AM at Aaron’s Mortuary (496 24th St, Ogden, UT) followed by graveside services at Lindquist Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch.
