Pauline "Pete" Attison

Pauline “Pete” West Attison passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 26, 2019, at the age of 94.  She was born April 24,1925, in Ogden Utah to James and Stella West.  On August 25, 1956, she married Samuel H. Attison. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, and all of her siblings, Bill, Betty, Jack, Joe, and her twin, Paul.  She is survived by her sister-in-law, Lew Ann West, numerous nieces and nephews, and caregiver/great-niece, Jenny Lewis.

Pete was a devout Catholic and enjoyed serving her church, St. Joseph’s.  She retired from the Defense Depot of Ogden after 30 years of dedicated service.  She enjoyed doing Japanese Bunka and made dozens of beautiful tapestries.  Pete had a big heart for animals, especially cats.  She loved her sweets, black coffee and a beer in the afternoon.  She often spent time with family and friends going to community theater and enjoyed shopping for new clothes regularly.

Funeral Mass will be held Monday, December 2, 2019 at 10 am at St Joseph Catholic Church, 514 24th Street, Ogden, UT.  Friends may meet with family Sunday, December 1, 2019, from 6 to 8 pm with Rosary at 7 pm at Aaron’s Mortuary, 496 24th Street, Ogden, UT.  Interment at Ogden Cemetery immediately following funeral services.
