Ray N,. Pena

Ray N. Pena passed away August 25, 2009 surrounded by his loving family. He was born November 22, 1933 to Fernando and Frances Urban Pena in Madrid, New Mexico.

He lived in Santa Fe, New Mexico most of his life. He was a devoted Roman Catholic.

Ray loved his family and enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid fisherman, hunter, gardener, and craftsman.

He is survived by his wife Virginia of Gallina, N.M., son Donnie Pena of Ogden, Utah, daughter Dollie Lovato of Santa Fe, N.M., son-in-law Joseph Lovato Sr. of Santa Fe, N.M., five grandchildren; Joseph, Anthony Jr., Angelo, Marcos, and Bernadette, two great-grandchildren; Julian and Jesse James. Also survived by many brothers and sisters.

Ray was preceded in death by his brothers; Fernando Pena, Paul Pena, and his parents.

A Family and Friend gathering will be held Friday, August 28, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. with Rosary at 10:00 a.m. - Larkin Mortuary, 496 Adams Ave. Ogden, UT.

Cremation will be under the direction of Aaron's Mortuary & Crematory.
