Robert Jordan "RJ" Bare

March 10, 1986 — July 7, 2019

It is with great sadness that the family of Robert Jordan ”RJ” Bare announces his passing, on Sunday, July 7, 2019, at the age of 33 years.

RJ, or Bare, as most friends knew him, was always the life of the party. No matter the situation, or his company, he would have people rolling on the floor laughing or at the very least leave people with a smile on their face. He had such an infectious grin. He was a man of many trades over the years, but over everything... he LOVED to cook and entertain people. His milk gravy and his grandmothers’ spaghetti are the staple dishes we will miss the most. He loved playing his guitar any chance he got. There weren’t many things that scared him; he would try anything at least once. If he didn’t hurt himself he would try it twice. He had a big heart for everyone and you could call him for help and he would figure out how to make it work. He has many, many friends, old and new, that loved him very much.

RJ will be fondly remembered by his daughter, Celestina “Gina” Bare, who was always the light in his life. She kept RJ young. He loved her mosteristister and every minute he spent with her.

RJ was preceded in death by his mother, Kathy, and father, Robert Clayton; his brother, Roger; his uncle, Jack McWain; and both pairs of grandparents.

He is survived by his daughter, Celestina Sue “Gina” Bare; his sisters, Shannon (Todd) Perry, Jenifer (John) Mutchie; and brother, Bret (Crystal) Bare; two aunts that he thought of as his bonus moms, Judie and Linda; his niece, Crislen (TJ); nephew Skyler (Sandie); nephews, Braydon and Jason, and niece Christine. RJ also had two great-nephews, and one great-niece, Axten, Alyena, and Dice who loved him very much.

Thank you to friends and family for the well wishes and prayers. There will be no services but a Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.

Another thank you to Aaron’s Mortuary.
