Robyn Lloyd

August 17, 1960 — January 6, 2022

Robyn Lloyd, 61 of Blackfoot Idaho

Mother, Wife, and Educator Robyn Lloyd said goodbye to her family and friends on January 6th, 2022 at her home in Clearfield Utah. She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years Don Lloyd and her four children Camille, Derrick (Kat), Jarrod (Leesha) and Aleesha (David). And her favorite grandson Jace.

Born to Gene and Grace Millward, Robyn graduated high school in Grace Idaho and quickly started her family with her husband Don. While she started her family in Rexburg Idaho, she would eventually move to Blackfoot where she and Don would raise their children and make many of her closest friends.

An accomplished piano player Robyn would play for anyone who asked. She loved playing for her church and community and accompanied many local theater productions as well as her children in band and choir performances.

Professionally, Robyn graduated with a degree in education and worked in many positions in this field. Her memories of children and teaching were some of her most cherished, and a great source of personal pride. Robyn happily volunteered as a chaperone for countless school and church activities.

Upon her passing, the most common remembrance of Robyn was how infectious her laughter was. Her friends and family remember how fast Robyn was to laugh and how much she enjoyed a funny or silly situation. She would say that she inherited her fathers sense of humor, a man whom she deeply admired and loved. She had a particular love of inside jokes, (ask the family about Drew’s foot sometime).

Robyn was a proud and lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and would encourage anyone reading this to follow the prophet. She threw herself into service and was always willing to help others around her.

Making meals, playing piano, and organizing an activity were among the tasks she happily did for others. Her nature was to serve those around her. She wrote several primary programs and served on many church committees.

Robyn was preceded by her Father Gene, and Mother Grace Millward . As well as her In-laws Keith and Ella Lloyd. We know that she has been welcomed with love and warmth home to her loved ones. Robyn had faith in eternal families and the power of the resurrection.

Her family would like to thank the workers at SunCrest Hospice who helped take care of her in her last year of life. You gave her the capacity to be with family, and that is all she would have wanted.

Robyn will be remembered on January 13th 2022 at Aaron’s Mortuary, 496 24th Street Ogden Utah 84401. There will be a viewing from 9:30 to 10:30 am followed directly by a funeral service and burial. Condolences can be sent to Aaron’s Mortuary.
