Ronald Rose

August 30, 1961 — September 3, 2021

Ronald Lester Rose passed away suddenly on Friday, September 3, 2021.  He was born in Salt Lake City on August 30, 1961 to Beverly Ruth Childers and Ronald Leroy Rose. He grew up the youngest of 3 children in Bountiful Utah. He was always outgoing and adventurous,  which pretty much meant he was a huge prankster.

Ron went to school at Woods Cross High School where he loved taking German, participating in marching band and J.R.O.T.C. That is where he met his first wife on a school trip to San Francisco. He was part of the first graduating class of Woods Cross High in 1979.

On May 30th, 1980 he married his best friend Mary Jean Mann. They had 4 children together whom he loved very much. There was never a moment that he forgot to tell them how much he loved them and how proud they made him.
He had the biggest bear arms for the best bear hugs. He loved going on car rides all over with his family even though they could be quite chaotic. He also loved camping and being outdoors.
There was never a dull moment around him. He could tell stories for hours to whomever had a listening ear. This would also include his famous dad jokes.

On January 3rd 2014 he married the love of his life Linda Jensen. This expanded his growing family by two more children, their families and grandchildren. This made his life fully complete.

He was preceded in death by his parents Ronald and Beverly.

Survived by his wife, Linda Rose; children: Kira Castro, Christopher Rose, Bridgette Rose and Amy Flores; step-children: Jeffrey Scott Clem and Joseph Clem; 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
