Rosalie Costalez Rascon passed away peacefully on February 12, 2026, in Brigham City, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 14, 1941, in Worland, Wyoming to Macedonio Max Costalez and Romona Roberta Mestas.

Rosalie married the love of her life, Juan Fuentes Rascon, in 1981 in Casper. Together they built a life filled with music, laughter, hard work, and deep devotion to family.

Rosalie was known for her strong work ethic. She worked for Hills Brothers Coffee and spent many years in factory work. She also worked alongside her husband at Devil’s Gate Pony Express in Casper. No matter the job, she gave her very best and took pride in providing for her family.

A gifted musician, Rosalie was a beautiful piano player with a gorgeous singing voice. She loved performing and sharing her talents with others. Together with her husband, she formed a band, “Rosie y Los Diamantes,” bringing joy and entertainment wherever they played. Rosalie truly was the life of the party—fun-loving, vibrant, and always ready with a smile.

Rosalie also expressed her love through cooking. She especially enjoyed making tamales and burritos and was happiest when sharing her delicious meals with family and friends. Her home was a place of warmth, music, laughter, and welcome.

She is survived by her children and stepchildren: Arnulfo Rascon; Rosa Imelda Rascon Cordova; Juan (Shelia) Rascon; Fernando (Jody) Costalez; Saul (Silvia) Rascon; Blas (Rosie) Rascon; Susanne (Antonio) Campos; Dora Alicia Rascon (Blas Tonche) Cordova; Gabby Rascon and Chela Campos; as well as many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings Veloy Montano, Martha (Robert) Montano, and Leroy (Carol) Costalez.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Juan; her sons, Vicente Costalez, Lalo Rascon and Mike Aguirre; her daughter, Anastacia Abilez; and her siblings Margaret, Alex, Darlene, and Tony.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Rosalie’s life during a gathering on Sunday, February 15, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., followed by a Time for Sharing Memories at 5:00 p.m. at Aaron's Brigham City Mortuary, 888 South Main Street, Brigham City, Utah.

Rosalie will be remembered for her music, her strength, her generous heart, and the love she so freely gave. Her legacy lives on in the family she cherished and the many lives she touched.
