Rose M Gutierrez

OGDEN- Rose M. Gutierrez passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2009, surrounded by her family, at Ogden Regional Medical Center. She was born June 15, 1940 to George and Josephine Lucero Sanchez in Delta, Colorado.

She married Jose Gutierrez, October 31, 1958 in Ogden, UT.

Rose lived in Utah most of her life with time spent also in Denver, CO., and New Mexico. She was a devout member of the Catholic Church.

She enjoyed crocheting, camping, and keeping in contact with all of her family members. Rose loved hearing her son's music, and playing Bingo.

Rose is survived by four sons; David J. (Kaye), Ricky A. (Ida), Randy P., James A. (Kaisie) Gutierrez all of Ogden, UT. two daughters; Rita M. ( Bert) Fernandez, Ogden, UT. and Elaine E. Quintana, Layton, UT., six grandchildren; Anthony Fernandez, Patricia (Scott) Quintana, Felina (Eduardo) Barales, Mika Quintana, Randy P., & Tim J. Ashworth, two great-grandchildren; Andre Oster, Cristal Barales. She is also survived by four brothers; Rudy Jaramillo, Idaho, Steve Sanchez, Roy, UT., Orlando Sanchez, Layton, UT., Joe Jaramillo, Brigham City, UT. one sister Teresa Thomas, Sunset, UT., and her special nieces and nephews.

And thanks to a very special friend Kirk Anderson, who was like a son to her

She was preceded in death by her husband Jose Gutierrez, sisters; Della Vasquez, Alavine Sanchez, and brother Joey Sanchez.

Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. a€" St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 514-24th St. Ogden, UT. A memorial will be held Friday, April 3, 2009 from 6-8:00 p.m. with Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Larkin Mortuary, 496 24th St. Ogden, UT.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the Bonneville Dialysis Techs.
